Destination: Treasure Island Hints
How does this puzzle work?
of 8: Try pressing the six buttons scattered about the table to see how they affect the puzzle board in the center.
of 8: Your goal is to move things on the board around so that they match what you see on the wall straight ahead of you.
of 8: The catch is that each button affects more than one thing.
of 8: For instance, press the left white button several times to see that each pressing will rotate both the outer semicircle and the leftmost sphere.
of 8: The outer semicircle is also moved by Long John's right button, and the left sphere is also moved by Pepita's left button.
of 8: You'll need to figure out what two things each of the six buttons will move, and what two buttons will move each of the six things on the board (the three spheres and the three semicircles).
of 8: Then you can use your information to start planning a way to solve the puzzle.
of 8: I found it best to set the outer semicircle first, then the left sphere, then the middle semicircle, then the middle sphere, and so on.
