How can I restore the idol after I do the retying and gathering?

  • 1 of 18: You have three flowers, three feathers, and two shells to work with.
  • 2 of 18: Examine the necklace to see where each type of item could go.
  • 3 of 18: There are two slots on the top part of the necklace that'll accept feathers.
  • 4 of 18: The large slot in the middle of the necklace is where a flower will go.
  • 5 of 18: And you'll need to put one shell in the empty spot that's above the decorative knot that you didn't have to tie yourself.
  • 6 of 18: Check the enigma for a clue as to which items to use.
  • 7 of 18: It talks about two sky colors reflected by the sea, and how the flower needs to be the blending of those two colors.
  • 8 of 18: Think about sunsets and sunrises. What colors are involved in those that you have here?
  • 9 of 18: They usually have lots of oranges and reds.
  • 10 of 18: The only item type that you can place two of on the necklace are the feathers.
  • 11 of 18: So choose two feathers and one flower such that the two feather colors blended would make the flower color.
  • 12 of 18: Remembering the above color clue, you'll realize that you need to use the red feather and orange flower.
  • 13 of 18: In basic color math, what plus red equals orange?
  • 14 of 18: The answer is yellow, so put the red and yellow feathers in the necklace's two top slots and the orange flower in the center slot.
  • 15 of 18: NOTE: For some reason, the red feather needs to be in the left feather slot, and the yellow feather needs to be in the right feather slot. If you get them switched, move them back down to the idol's base and then put them up in that order.
  • 16 of 18: As for the shell, which one of the two shells fits in with the rest of the necklace's color scheme?
  • 17 of 18: The blue one certainly doesn't, so put the red shell in the shell slot.
  • 18 of 18: When you get it all right, Long John's parrot will say so and fly off.
