The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal Hints

Investigate Bamz-Amschend

  • 1 of 6: This quest comes immediately after An Attack on Mournhold.  If you talk to the High Ordinators, they'll suggest that you report the attack to Fedris Hler.  Similarly, any of the Royal Guard will send you to Tienius Delitian.
  • 2 of 6: NOTE: If you haven't finished Tienius Delitian's Royal Palace Main Quests yet, you'd better do them before finishing this quest.  If you don't, you'll never be able to, and will be cheated out of the opportunity to get King's Oath, one of the best long blades in the game.
  • 3 of 6: Delitian and Hler will basically give you the same quest -- to go through the hole that's where the statue in the middle of the Plaza Brindisi Dorom used to be, and see what the source of the disturbance is.  (The conversation topic is "investigate the disturbance.")
  • 4 of 6: There's no fighting involved in this quest -- just look to see what's happening, and report back to the appropriate person.
  • 5 of 6: Climb up to the ex-statue in the center of the Plaza, and then go down the ladder that's conveniently located in its center.  (You may have to get fairly close before you can click on it, so walk around the statue as needed to get the right angle.)
  • 6 of 6: Then, just walk down the passageway a bit until you can see the Dwemer bots and the fabricants fighting each other.  Your journal will be updated to say that the fabricants aren't of Dwemer origin, and it suggests that you report back.  Do so to get your next quest.  (I think you may want to check in with Fedris, even if you didn't get the quest from him.)
