The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal Hints
Tip: Stendarr's Hammer
of 8: The Museum of Artifacts in Godsreach starts out having one great artifact in it: Stendarr's Hammer.
of 8: Unfortunately, even though it isn't too hard to sneakily steal the hammer, it weighs half a ton!
of 8: The only reasonable way to wield it is to create several constant effect items that fortify your strength attribute.
of 8: To start with, get a Daedric tower shield from a Golden Saint and enchant it to constantly fortify strength by 45 points. Then get two exquisite rings and enchant them to each constantly fortify strength by 24 points. Then do the same with an exquisite amulet.
of 8: It also helps to have the Fists of Randagulf, which are in Ilunibi (near the fishing village of Gnaar Mok in the Ald'ruhn region in the main Morrowind game).
of 8: If your Strength is 100 to start with, that should take it up to where your carrying capacity is considerably over 1,000 pounds, which is the weight of the hammer. (You'll still have to ditch almost everything else, though.)
of 8: If nothing else works for you, use the console cheats to set your strength way high. See the "About the Cheat Console" tips for exact information on how to do this.
of 8: NOTE: It takes a lot of fatigue points to swing the hammer each time, and it has a lousy condition (100 points total) and therefore needs repairing after just a few blows. It's not really worth all the trouble, but it can be a really cool feeling to swing a genuine god's weapon!
