The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal Hints
Where are all the ore deposits?
This list gives all of the locations of adamantium ore deposits and how many deposits are in each location. The number of adamantium ore chunks you get from each deposit is random (usually 0 or 1).
Norenen-dur, The Teeth That Gnash (4)
Old Mournhold: Armory Ruins (3)
Old Mournhold: Temple Catacombs (3)
Old Mournhold: Temple Crypt (10)
Even if you raid all 20 of those deposits, you may still end up with only a dozen or so pieces of adamantium ore, which isn't nearly enough to make a full set of armor. You might want to check the following list of premade adamantium armor locations before deciding what to have Bols make for you.
Adamantium armor Location ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cuirass Temple Sewers West, on top of a large stone arch near the box labeled "Malar's Stuff" in the Black Dart gang camp area. Bracers (1) For sale in the Great Bazaar's armory shop. (2) On a high-up stone walkway in the Moril Manor Courtyard in Old Mournhold. Boots (1) Temple Sewers West, in "Malar's Stuff" crate. (2) Next to the bracers in the Moril Manor Courtyard. (3) On a high-up ledge in the Bazaar Sewers at the main path split. Helm In the NW room of the Moril Manor Courtyard.
NOTE: Apelles Matius at Ebonheart and Yagak gro-Gluk in Godsreach's Craftsmen's Hall both wear several adamantium armor pieces, but both are quest-related, and shouldn't be killed just for their armor (though you might could get away with it with Matius as long as you've already secured transport to Mournhold).
