How do I stop the shadow from moving?
of 20: The triangle casts a shadow, but the shadow moves.
of 20: And the shadow is produced by the sun.
of 20: So you'll need to move the sun.
of 20: Go to the top of the triangle, and look at the hole.
of 20: Try to put the gnomon in the hole.
of 20: Nope, didn't fit.
of 20: However, explore a little bit to understand the solution.
of 20: Go to the aboreteum.
of 20: Take note of the name on the statue.
of 20: Go south, then up.
of 20: Get the axe, then go north and down.
of 20: Now look at the statue, and notice that the inscription is backwards.
of 20: Additionally, your directions are reversed (east is west, and west is east). North and south are the same, however.
of 20: The whole world is reversed, so maybe that gnomon will fit!
of 20: Head back to the top of the triangle, and try putting the gnomon in the hole.
of 20: Now, get your directions back to normal by getting back to the Aboreteum, and go south, up, north, and down.
of 20: Head back to the triangle (again) and try setting the ring to different symbols.
of 20: Then turn the lever.
of 20: The sun will move, so the triangle's shadow will point to different parts of the land.
of 20: If you follow the shadow, you'll find the doorways to the other places you need to go to.
