How can I catch the rat in Nina's cell?
1 of 17: Mice and rats love cheese.
2 of 17: Is there any cheese... or anything cheese-flavored, anywhere nearby?
3 of 17: In Max's part of the hospital?
4 of 17: The first guard was eating some cheese soup.
5 of 17: We need a way to transport some of that soup up to Nina.
6 of 17: Moving the bowl isn't going to be an option, we need a more solid... or porous... way of storing the soup.
7 of 17: You already gave Nina the scalpel, right?
8 of 17: Have her slash at her mattress with it, to discover some foam.
9 of 17: Give that foam to Max, and have him dip it in the soup. It will soak some of it up.
10 of 17: Now, send it back to Nina.
11 of 17: The rat would surely be lured by the cheese but we'll need a way to trap it once it has been lured.
12 of 17: Think of the way a mouse trap works... not the standard one, but one of those older ones.
13 of 17: An item holds up a bowl, or cage, and when the animal comes under the bowl to eat, it knocks the stick or whatever and it falls.
14 of 17: We need to recreate one of these.
15 of 17: There is already a bowl in Nina's cell, and the chair leg from earlier would make a good stand.
16 of 17: First, tie the thread to the foam, so that the rat touching it will trigger the trap.
17 of 17: Combine the bowl and chair leg with the cheesy foam, then use it with the rat hole.
