The Secret Files: Tunguska Hints

What do these numbers mean, and how do they relate to the compass?

  • 1 of 11: The numbers relate to how you should point the compass needle.
  • 2 of 11: The needle will point to wherever the nuts are placed, and can be pointed at diagonals by putting the two nuts in cornering positions such as North and West or South and East.
  • 3 of 11: Think of the compass as a round object... then try to think of other round objects that use numbers.
  • 4 of 11: Maybe... a clock face?
  • 5 of 11: Use the compass to point out the times indicated in the message.
  • 6 of 11: Seven and a half, then three, then ten and a half, then six.
  • 7 of 11: Use the nuts as follows, pressing the button in the centre after each combination:
  • 8 of 11: South and West, for 7.5.
  • 9 of 11: Just East, for 3.
  • 10 of 11: North and West, for 10.5.
  • 11 of 11: Just South, for 6.
