The Secret Files: Tunguska Hints

There's a locked door stopping me getting out of this room. How do I open it?

  • 1 of 12: Well, there's a key right next to the door.
  • 2 of 12: Unfortunately, the lock is entirely iced over, and you cannot open the door.
  • 3 of 12: We need to melt that ice, then unlock the door.
  • 4 of 12: Perhaps we can kill two birds with one stone?
  • 5 of 12: Maybe we could make the key itself hot enough to melt through the ice?
  • 6 of 12: We need to start a fire here to get the key heated up.
  • 7 of 12: Once you've started a fire, you'll need a way to hold the key into it without burning your fingers.
  • 8 of 12: Check the room for something, look everywhere.
  • 9 of 12: The armoire has a piece of metal in it that looks almost like a set of tongs, but the two "fingers" are too far apart to grab the key.
  • 10 of 12: There's a mechanical vice in here... maybe that can clamp the metal together?
  • 11 of 12: Use the piece of something on the vice, then the key on the bent piece of something.
  • 12 of 12: Finally, use that item in the fire, and use it to unlock the door.
