"A fourth of the openings on the entrance to the underworld."
1 of 9: This one's particularly cryptic.
2 of 9: Think of the underworld not as Hell, but as somewhere underneath your current location.
3 of 9: How would one go about gaining access to an area below street level.
4 of 9: A manhole, perhaps?
5 of 9: There's one in the yard, so go take a look.
6 of 9: There are openings around the outside of the manhole; count them.
7 of 9: Sixteen in total, but the first part of the clue says "a fourth."
8 of 9: Divide sixteen by four, and you will have the answer.
