Under a Killing Moon Hints
How can I get Ardo to let me into the hotel?
of 13: If you've asked folks about him, you'll know that he has a big hero.
of 13: It's Inspector Burns. You might want to watch the TV in Rusty's shop to get an idea of what Inspector Burns looks and sounds like so you can imitate him.
of 13: You will need to piece together an Inspector Burns disguise from items available on Chandler Street.
of 13: You can find an Inspector Burns mask behind the counter at Rusty's.
of 13: And the warehouse has a fireman's uniform in one of the crates. Combine it with the mask to make a disguise.
of 13: Inspector Burns also has a high-pitched voice.
of 13: You can find the tools to make your voice turn high-pitched.
of 13: Helium will work.
of 13: You need to make a portable helium source so you can change your voice at the appropriate moment.
of 13: Look in Rusty's for the items you need.
of 13: There's a helium nozzle in the clown head on the left wall (as you're entering from the street).
of 13: And there's a balloon in the sink in the back room (see day 1 hints to find out how to get in there).
of 13: Use the balloon on the nozzle to fill it with helium. If you've assembled the disguise and filled the balloon, you should be able to talk your way past Ardo.
