Ultima IX: Ascension Hints

I have the Glyph. Where to now?

  • 1 of 5: You are finished in Hythloth if you have the Glyph of Humility and have placed 4 statues on their pedestals.
  • 2 of 5: The easiest way to get to the exit is to find the room with the walls that were closing in.  Leave that room through the east door and take the first left (north).
  • 3 of 5: You will walk through the room that had the chest containing the Blue Statue.  Go north from there.
  • 4 of 5: Take the first east (right) passage you come to and follow a bit of twists and turns.  Eventually you will come upon an area with transparent, glass walls.
  • 5 of 5: The first left turn you come to leads to a teleporter  -- your way out of Hythloth if you choose to leave now.  (Read the information about the Optional Upper Sections.)
