How can I get across the sinking columns?
1 of 4: This is a tricky puzzle where timing is important. Do not jump from one to the other too quickly. Allow enough time in between for the other pedestals to rise.
2 of 4: It doesn't seem to matter how long you pause on each pedestal, just which ones you land on, and in which order.
3 of 4: Basically you want to end up on the one in front of the high platform and then jump over.
4 of 4: The solution can be found in a scroll on a pile of bones in the hallway before the room with the closing walls. If you still need an answer, see my graphical solution below, which follows what is written in the scroll.
