Ultima IX: Ascension Hints
Red (brown) Statue
1 of 5: You'll need to go North at the first 4-way intersection to find the Red Statue (which looks brownish on some monitors). If the north portcullis is still closed, see below.
2 of 5: At the next intersection, walk east until you come to a well. The Red Statue is at the bottom of that well, and it can be tricky to fetch it and get out without drowning.
3 of 5: Drink a Blue Potion before jumping in, if you have one. Once down there, act quickly and get the red statue. (You can't miss it!) Now get out there.
4 of 5: The water level can be lowered so you can climb out of the well again.
5 of 5: Click on the wheel switch and swim quickly to the top. Climb out.
