Ultima IX: Ascension Hints
Oil Flasks
1 of 3: Oil flasks are scattered about in boxes and crates and can be purchased in some of the equipment shops, but their usefulness is not described in the manual.
2 of 3: A burned-out lantern can be revived by refilling it with the oil from an oil flask. But there's more.
3 of 3: After you have achieved your second training in Archery, keep oil flasks in your inventory to shoot flaming arrows.
