Must I complete the Elemental Planes in a particular order?
1 of 3: No, but it's so easy using the teleporters inside the gateways that is seems silly not to do them in that order.
2 of 3: After you finish each, find the teleporter in the area you return to and use it.
3 of 3: I think it was intended that you solve the Planes in the order you worked on the gateways (Air, Fire, Earth, and then Water).
