Ultima IX: Ascension Hints
I'm having trouble swimming down below the L-shaped room!
1 of 5: It is a pretty long swim, so if you have any Blue Potions, put them in your belt for quick access. Remove all of your armor to your backpack to keep you from sinking unexpectedly. It's dark down there, so you might cast a Light spell before jumping into the water to brighten up everything.
2 of 5: Dive down underneath the floor and go east then north, through a doorway, and then west, following the water troth on the floor beneath you.
3 of 5: At about this point you can see light above you. There are some air pockets above those hallways, so go up for air when needed.
4 of 5: Continue by going north and then east.
5 of 5: Almost at the end, there is a hole in the ceiling where you can surface and climb out.
