Ultima IX: Ascension Hints
Sword of Frost
1 of 4: This sword glows with an icy brilliance and is enchanted with water-based magic. It can kill a hellhound with one shot!
2 of 4: It can be purchased in Buccaneer's Den for the hefty sum of 2420 gold pieces.
3 of 4: Receive the Sword of Frost as your prize by killing the Blue Dragon above the ice islands. Search along the path between Yew and Wrong.
4 of 4: Find another one in the Top (Entry) Level of The Abyss to the east of the gateway pit. You must climb a rock that is in your way to get to the high plateau where it sits near a dead body. (I propped my Lightning Sword against the rock, climbed it, and jumped over. A staff would work just as well, I think.)
