Who will train me in 1-handed weapons use?
1 of 5: Keller, the trainer in Lord British's castle in Britain, will provide your first lesson for 300 gold pieces. Find him in the armory, through the left door after entering the Castle. Good not only in battle but also for whacking open wooden crates, the move he teaches you is a chop hammer attack.
2 of 5: Old Jak, the weapons smith in Valoria will be able to train you further. It will cost 2000 before the shrine of Valor is cleansed and 1500 afterwards. This move is a side-swiping slice one side to the other.
3 of 5: Get your last training in one-handed weaponry free.
4 of 5: Achieve the Master Level in 1-handed weapons from Lyssa, the protector of the Bell of Courage in Serpent's Hold.
5 of 5: You will learn how to use a shield more effectively to push your opponent away from you and perhaps stun him.
