About Weapons
You acquire your weapons one at a time during the game. As you get each weapon, take some time to become familiar with its operation. Each weapon has at least two modes of firing, and you will do better if you know which mode to use in what situation.
Another important aspect of using your weapons is to watch the supply of ammo. If a gun is at full charge on ammo, that should be your weapon, if it can be used. You want to be a little bit low on all weapons rather than full on some and empty on others. This is so that you will be able to pick up any ammo that you find, and you will still be able to use a special weapon if needed.
Along with this idea, you should always use the Disruption Pistol, which recharges by itself, whenever you can. Be sure to rest in a safe spot if it ever gets below half full.
