The Assault Rifle

The Assault Rifle is the neatest weapon in the game. It is a sniper rifle -- fast and accurate in the primary firing mode. But it also has a great sniper scope. Use the alternate fire to zoom in on the target, or just for sight seeing. The combination of zoom and primary fire make it the only tool to use for sniping on a distant foe. Shots to the head seem to do more damage, and with luck may also give a beheading.
Never use the last bullet, so you can use the sniper scope whenever you want.
