Uru: The Path of the Shell Hints
I linked to the starry island. What do I do?
1 of 26: The devastated starry Third Ahnonay looks very different than the sunny First Ahnonay and foggy Second Ahnonay. Take notice of both the differences and similarities.
2 of 26: The radar is destroyed, and the tower island is no more. The only similarity seems to be the Ahnonay Linking Chamber book resting on its pedestal.
3 of 26: Using the Linking Book in the chamber will merely return you to First Ahnonay. (Third Ahnonay has no radar and no signs of life, so there's nothing to keep things from changing when you leave and return via the chamber.) There must be something else you can do. Explore your options.
4 of 26: There is more than one way to travel from place to place in Uru.
5 of 26: Not only can you use Linking Books presented to you, but you always carry one with you as well.
6 of 26: And through that Linking Book you carry with you, you have access to an expansive library.
7 of 26: How can you use your Relto Age to manipulate your location in Ahnonay?
8 of 26: It's possible to link into an age in a location different than that depicted in the Linking Panel...

10 of 26: By touching a Shell Cloth in any version of Ahnonay to save a location, and then linking back via the Ahnonay Book in your Relto, you can link into a different version of Ahnonay, but in the location of the original Shell Cloth. That is, you link into the coordinates of the Shell Cloth, not the Cloth itself.
11 of 26: There are Shell Cloths on both First and Second Ahnonay. Which one do you use?
12 of 26: Think of the locations of each Shell Cloth.
13 of 26: First Ahnonay's Shell Cloth was on the main island, a location clearly presented in Third Ahnonay.
14 of 26: Second Ahnonay's Shell Cloth was on the tower island, which doesn't seem to exist in Third Ahnonay.
15 of 26: Intriguing. Wonder where you'd end up if you linked to the tower island's coordinates in Third Ahnonay?
16 of 26: If you didn't touch the Shell Cloth in Second Ahnonay, return to Second Ahnonay and touch it.
17 of 26: Now you need to link back into Third Ahnonay via the Shell Cloth.
18 of 26: Remember, Ahnonay will only transform if you link out via the Ahnonay Linking Chamber book on the pedestal. Leaving through your Relto Book won't alter the Age.
19 of 26: If you haven't already done so, use the Linking Chamber book to transform Second Ahnonay into Third Ahnonay if you haven't already done so and enter Third Ahnonay. Then link out of Third Ahnonay via your Relto Book.
20 of 26: Find the Ahnonay Book on your bookshelf (brown book with a gear on it) and flip the page to link to the Shell Cloth.
21 of 26: Now you're on a barren island near the main island of Third Ahnonay. Take a look around.
22 of 26: Near you (but not directly in front of you) is a Shell Cloth. Try to imagine where this Shell Cloth is located in First and Second Ahnonay.
23 of 26: Since Second Ahnonay's Shell Cloth was directly outside the tower, and Third Ahnonay's Shell Cloth is a little beyond that...
24 of 26: ...the coordinates of Third Ahnonay's Shell Cloth are directly inside the tower on First Ahnonay.
25 of 26: You need to "time travel" again, and then use the Shell Cloth to get that location in First Ahnonay.
26 of 26: Touch the Shell Cloth on Third Ahnonay then link out and back via the Linking Chamber to complete the transformation back to First Ahnonay. Once that's done, return to your Relto, open your Ahnonay Book there, and use the Shell Cloth page to travel inside the tower.
