What do I do in the fireplace?
1 of 8: Myst veterans will find this view familiar. The goal is to input the correct pattern of boxes into the fireplace door. What have you found throughout the Path of the Shell that could help you?
2 of 8: You're looking for boxes. Patterns of boxes.
3 of 8: The box patterns you've found appear to be a solution, but they're each a mere fraction of a diagram the size of the fireplace.
5 of 8: Make note of how large the fireplace puzzle is and try to combine all the box diagram pieces into an image of that size.
6 of 8: The fireplace puzzle is composed of 8 columns and 6 rows.
7 of 8: Connect the lines and boxes of the box diagrams to make an 8x6 diagram. Try out the resulting diagram in the fireplace. After you've input the diagram, press the red button. If it doesn't work, try again.
