Uru: The Path of the Shell Hints

What do I do with the pellets created by the machine?

  • 1 of 16: Pressing the button on the machine dispenses a pellet for you.  What can you do with a pellet, a Linking Book, and a Bahro Stone?
  • 2 of 16: Click on the pellet to lay your hand on it.  Now wherever you link, the pellet will go with you.
  • 3 of 16: If you link through the Linking Book with a pellet, a machine on the other side will evaluate it then drop it into the water, creating a bright (though short-lived) light if the pellet is good.  How can you use this?
  • 4 of 16: The same thing should happen if you link to the Bahro Cave.  Try it.
  • 5 of 16: The pellet falls through the hole in the center to the cave below.  Where is the cave below?
  • 6 of 16: Close examination will yield a familiar view if you've completed Ahnonay.
  • 7 of 16: Beneath the Bahro Cave you link to from Er'cana is the Bahro Cave you link to from Ahnonay.  Dropping the pellet will light the lower Bahro Cave, but how can you drop the pellet from above and get to the bottom before the light fades?
  • 8 of 16: Think back to Kadish's room on Ahnonay.  Was there anything there that gives you a clue?
  • 9 of 16: There was a diagram there, which showed two domes connected by a small hole.  Next to it was a circle with the number 625 written in it.
  • 10 of 16: Those domes are the Bahro Caves, and the circle... could it be a clock?
  • 11 of 16: What could a clock with 625 written in it mean?
  • 12 of 16: Perhaps Yeesha had some influence here.  Could she have altered time in the two places?
  • 13 of 16: Could the lower Bahro Cave really be behind the upper cave?
  • 14 of 16: Give it a shot.  Drop a pellet (or more than one if you wish) from the upper Bahro Cave, then link to Ahnonay (via the Shell Cloth in Kadish's room if possible), then use the Bahro Stone from Kadish's Room to get to the lower Bahro Cave.
  • 15 of 16: How long do I have to wait for the pellets to fall?
  • 16 of 16: When the pellet(s) do fall, take a quick look around, and take pictures with your KI if you want -- that way you can look at the images longer than the pellets' light permits.
