Uru: To D'ni Hints

Where is the Toran GZM?

  • 1 of 9: Examine the viewer that corresponds with the Toran coordinate.  The Toran coordinate is the first (leftmost) coordinate on your KI and is represented by a circle.  The set of coordinates given to you by the Toran viewer is the location of the GZM to calibrate the Great Zero for toran (a.k.a. angle).
  • 2 of 9: The coordinates given to you by the viewer are 59863; 57; -77.  That is, a toran value of 59863, a distance value of 57, and an elevation value of -77.
  • 3 of 9: If you have already calibrated the Great Zero's Distance or Elevation coordinates, you will be able to track your Distance and Elevation position throughout the cavern.  This can be especially useful if you know the coordinates of other locations in the cavern to use as comparison.  If not, you'll have to use a little more guess and check work.
  • 4 of 9: Explore the D'ni cavern carefully.  The GZM must be in there somewhere.
  • 5 of 9: It's a lot of searching, but keep it up!  Try to think about areas of D'ni that you may not think of normally, such as those you don't have access to through the Nexus, but have access to by other means such as Bahro Stones and other Linking Books.
  • 6 of 9: In the case of the Toran GZM, the location you're looking for can only be accessed initially by a Bahro Stone found elsewhere.
  • 7 of 9: The GZM is, however, still in Ae'gura.
  • 8 of 9: Search your Ae'gura book on Relto for a link to a balcony overlooking the Strip Mall and Tokotah.  (If you can't find it, check Gahreesen for the original Bahro Stone.)
  • 9 of 9: Link in.  You'll find the GZM waiting patiently for you.  Return to the Great Zero Calibration Chamber and submit the GZM.  You must submit the GZM before you can collect another.
