Uru: Ages Beyond Myst Hints

What are the various ages I can travel to, and when should I go there?

  • 1 of 10: If you look on the right side of your library, you should see a book that helps describes what the ages are.
  • 2 of 10: Each age is described on two pages -- one with a picture representing the age, and the next with the age's name.
  • 3 of 10: Match the symbols on the pedestals up to the descriptions on the books to know what each of the ages is called.
  • 4 of 10: You don't have to travel to any of the ages in any particular order -- and you may prefer to jump to a new age as you get stuck in the current one.  I chose to travel to the ages in the order given in the book, but you don't have to do this.  Read ahead to learn which book and pedestal goes with each age.  (Left and right below refer to the pedestal's locations as you're standing behind the pedestals and facing the library.)
  • 5 of 10: Teledahn: Left-side pedestal, closer to the library.  Orange book.
  • 6 of 10: Gahreesen: Right-side pedestal, farther from the library.  Yellow book.
  • 7 of 10: Kadesh Tolesa: Left-side pedestal, farther from the library.  Purple book.
  • 8 of 10: Eder Kemo and Eder Gira: Right-side pedestal, closer to the library.  Red (and later, green) books.
  • 9 of 10: As you travel to these ages, the books may shift around a bit on your shelf -- but they'll finally end up in the second through the sixth slots on the top shelf of your library.  When you're finished, from left to right, the books will be Gahreesen, Teledahn, Kadesh Tolesa, Eder Gira, and Eder Kemo.  (Notice that the order of the first two books is swapped around from what seems to be recommended.)
  • 10 of 10: The slot all on its own, just to the right of those five, takes you to D'ni.  If another book with blue and gold swirls appears to the right of that, that apparently belongs to your D'ni neighborhood -- something that really is only used for Uru Live.
