Uru: Ages Beyond Myst Hints
What is that puzzle, and how do I solve it?
1 of 13: If you can, take a look at this building from a distance.
2 of 13: If you go into the building, upstairs, and through the door into the tunnels, you should be able to follow a path back outside to an area looking out over the ocean.
3 of 13: Specifically, as you pass the Journey Door, take the fork to the left.
4 of 13: You'll see a telescope of sorts here.
5 of 13: Look through that.
6 of 13: Use the left and right controls on either side and the up and down controls on the bottom to turn back towards the building.
7 of 13: You should see a ladder hanging above the ledge on the side of the building.
8 of 13: Notice that it's suspended from some kind of pulley, counterbalanced by boulders.
9 of 13: Also notice that this is not your usual kind of telescope here.
10 of 13: There's a blue button on the top of the viewfinder that fires some kind of gun.
11 of 13: Shoot at the boulders, and the ladder will fall.
12 of 13: Then go back up to the ledge -- reaching it the same way that you took to get to the Journey Cloth on the ledge itself -- and climb the ladder.
