A Vampyre Story Hints

My gargoyle isn't being too helpful -- how can I convince him?

  • 1 of 13: You just need his breath, not his cooperation.
  • 2 of 13: He can hold his breath for ten minutes (ahh, Monkey Island references!), so you won't be able to just wait it out, as like Monkey Island, it's one of those pesky indefinite ten minute periods. :)
  • 3 of 13: So we're going to need to get him to stop holding his breath.
  • 4 of 13: He's holding his mouth closed, but still breathing through his nose...
  • 5 of 13: ...but collecting breath from his nose just isn't an option. We NEED to force him to open his mouth.
  • 6 of 13: Perhaps if we plugged or jammed up his nose, he might have to open his mouth, at which point we could collect a sample of his breath?
  • 7 of 13: How did you plug up a nose the last time you had to?
  • 8 of 13: Not the nose of the demonic fountain in the laboratory, I mean an actual, living character's nose.
  • 9 of 13: We plugged Frody's nose so that he could head into the pit, didn't we?
  • 10 of 13: Do you remember how we did that?
  • 11 of 13: We put a clothespin on it.
  • 12 of 13: Do the same with Rufus.
  • 13 of 13: Jam the clothespin on his nose. :)
