Voyage Hints
What can I do with the two telescopes?
of 11: One of the telescopes is broken. So there's not much that can be done with that one.
of 11: The other telescope has a couple of blue ideograms on it. What might they mean?
of 11: Experiment with, and around, the telescope, listening to Ardan's comments as you do.
of 11: It also looks as though there is some kind of slot in the telescope stand -- such as a coin slot used in vending machines.
of 11: Where might you find some coins?
of 11: Look around on the ground, near the working telescope.
of 11: Take the coins on the ground.
of 11: Whenever you take coins, they will not go directly into inventory. They will be kept as a "running total". Any time you need a coin, just continue with whatever operation you are doing. The appropriate coin(s) will be used (i.e., subtracted from your total).
of 11: In this case, click on the coin slot in the telescope stand.
of 11: You will see a close-up view of a distant mountain top, and what appears to be a large gate. Also, you can see an alien creature walking around (guard patrol?) the gate area.
of 11: That's the only useful information provided by the telescope. But if you have not already been to that mountain top, you could consider this to be a clue that it might be something to investigate further.
