How do I open the large gate behind the alien?
1 of 8: The gate "is a challenge", says Ardan. Looks like you've got a puzzle here.
2 of 8: Look around near the gate...
3 of 8: ...particularly to the left.
4 of 8: There is a set of gears, with a handle connected. But one gear is missing from the middle.
5 of 8: It looks like this might open the gate, if you could find the missing gear.
6 of 8: Once you have replaced the gear, try clicking on the handle.
7 of 8: The gate opens... but the gear disappears.
8 of 8: The gate will remain open, unless (and until) you create another gear, place it into position in the mechanism, and use the handle again. This will close the gate, requiring you to create still another gear, and use it to open the gate again. (Advice: just leave the gate open.)
