How does the food vat work?
1 of 12: What happens if you click on the vat?
2 of 12: Ardan mentions "adding something to their food". What could he add? And how would it be distributed?
3 of 12: Look to the right of the vat. There is a tube leading to one side of some control, marked with a "fire" ideogram.
4 of 12: The other side leads to the water dish, and is marked with a "water" ideogram.
5 of 12: There is also a lever of some kind in the middle, which -- according to Ardan -- "has an effect on a distribution center for food and drink".
6 of 12: What happens when you click on the lever?
7 of 12: Did you watch the little triangular window above the lever during the animation?
8 of 12: It seems to shift briefly to sending "water" through the system, rather than food from the vat.
9 of 12: Where does the output from that tube (at the top of the control) go?
10 of 12: Follow it down the hallway, until you reach the far end, and look around.
11 of 12: Holy cow -- it looks like a "Holiday Inn" for aliens! They're stacked up to the ceiling. (Note on the ground that this is position "12".)
12 of 12: They must all be fed from the large vat in the "kitchen".
