Voyage Hints
What do I do with the button to the left of center, with the 3 keys above it?
1 of 10: You must use this button to request a Selenite key.
2 of 10: Selenite keys are necessary to use the elevator.
3 of 10: Initially, the "zero" key (the one with the "empty" ideogram on it) can provide access to the top 4 levels.
4 of 10: However, you will need more advanced keys to reach the bottom 2 levels.
5 of 10: To request a higher key, use the button below the three "key" symbols, in front of the dignitary.
6 of 10: When the button is pressed, it starts a dialogue, with Ardan asking for a key.
7 of 10: The dignitary will make one of several replies. All keys require a certain "point level". (Technically, you "stole" the first key before you really knew about the points. But now it's made known to you.)
8 of 10: Sometimes, just reaching the required point total is enough to get that key.
9 of 10: However, for the higher levels, you will also be required to read, write, and speak Selenite.
10 of 10: If the dignitary cannot give you a key at the moment, he will explain the reason. (E.g., not enough points, Ardan cannot yet speak Selenite, etc.) That explanation should be enough to let you know what you need to do to get the next key. Complete the task(s) defined by the dignitary, and come back and request the key again.
