Voyage Hints
What are the different results that I should watch for?
2 of 6: In both of the above cases, the dial beneath the two globes will spin into the red (danger) section, and the green light in the middle of the machine will not light. The process has failed.
3 of 6: However, if neither color smoke appeared, then the green light in the center of the machine should light, and the hopper (where you inserted your item into the Purifier) should click open.
4 of 6: In this case, you can click on the hopper, and pick up the newly-created item. It will be added to your inventory.
5 of 6: Note, however, that most of the output from the Purifier is not useful by itself, but still must be combined with something else before it will produce a useful substance.
6 of 6: For further information on the compounds created by the Purifier, go to the Inventory after you have picked up the item, select it, and read the descriptive text about the item at the bottom of the screen. There will frequently be a (very obvious) clue as to what the item is useful for.
