Voyage Hints
How can I make some explosive?
1 of 9: Aha -- a pyromaniac, eh? You should enjoy this, then, since you're going to have to create the explosives yourself.
2 of 9: There are different kinds of explosive charges that can be found throughout the game (such as the powder that came from the capsule originally). However, none of these will be powerful enough to launch the capsule for its return to Earth.
3 of 9: Have you seen anything that would indicate how you might make a more powerful explosive?
4 of 9: How about one of the formulas on the Purifier?
5 of 9: Take a look at the left panel (or search through your log, if you've already seen the panels at least once).
6 of 9: In particular, look at the second formula on the left panel.
7 of 9: The formula seems to be defining the creation of something that is powerful enough to launch a projectile into space.
8 of 9: Follow the formula on the Purifier, to create the explosive.
9 of 9: Note that the explosive produced in this fashion is a consumable resource. That is, unlike some other things (e.g., grease, glue) -- which can be used over and over without exhausting the supply -- this explosive can be used only once. If you need more, you will need to go through the above steps to create more, each time it is needed.
