How do I use the decanter measure?
of 9: The decanter measure is the machine on the right-hand side, at position "24" in the Hall of Ancient Antiquities.
of 9: It dispenses the pink liquid that can be seen bubbling at the top.
of 9: This liquid is required by one of the formulas noted by the Purifier on Level 5.
of 9: Examine the machine carefully, to find all of the active areas -- buttons, valves, and so on.
of 9: If you try to click on any of the active spots, what happens?
of 9: Your "bug" friend tells you that you cannot use the machine until you have first placed some kind of container on the low, flat stone slab on the left of the machine.
of 9: Use the empty can that used to hold the potassium nitrate on your trip from Earth.
of 9: After you have placed the empty can on the flat stone slab to the left of the machine, continue examining the various parts of the machine, focusing on areas where the cursor indicates potential activity spots.
of 9: There are five different "hot spots" that you will need to understand, in order to work the machine. Play with them to decipher what they do. The liquid in the machine continues to recycle, so don't worry about wasting any.
