Voyage Hints

I tried, but when I got there, Ardan says that the paint has dried up!

  • 1 of 10: Once you have made the "lightening paint", it will only stay in a usable liquid form for a short time.
  • 2 of 10: You will need to return to your capsule and use the paint as quickly as possible, after you have created it.  If you delay, or do other things in the mean time, the paint will likely dry up.
  • 3 of 10: Ardan says that he has to "restore it to liquid form".  How can you do that?
  • 4 of 10: There is nothing you can add to the paint; in fact, adding anything might change the formula to the point that it didn't work.
  • 5 of 10: Perhaps an outside catalyst could help -- one that wouldn't interfere with the chemical make-up of the paint.
  • 6 of 10: Have you tried heating the dried paint?
  • 7 of 10: Take the dried paint to any flame or heat source, and hold the can of paint over the heat.
  • 8 of 10: Although any one of the "fire pits" on the plateau or in the underground caverns will work, if you are still near the capsule, the nearest heat source is the burner that is still burning inside of the capsule.
  • 9 of 10: The paint will once again be usable -- for the moment.  But don't delay, or it can dry again!
  • 10 of 10: If the paint dries again, just use heat once more to return it to its liquid state.
