Voyage Hints

How do the two additional keys assist in solving this puzzle?

  • 1 of 4: Under normal conditions, the only thing that shows in the "frame" underneath the two golden figures is a single tile of the puzzle.  You must move that tile around (using the red arrow buttons) to see all eight  "hint" tiles.  And you can never see more than one hint tile at a time.
  • 2 of 4: If you have a level "2" key, you can put it in the slot marked with a "2", and all eight tiles will appear in the "help frame" at the same time.  However, they will be mixed up; they will not be in their proper position.  So you will still need to do some careful visual matching to determine which tile represents which piece of the "golden figures" puzzle.
  • 3 of 4: If you have a level "3" key, you can put it in the slot marked with a "3".  (However, you must also have enabled the "2" slot prior to using the "3" key.  Inserting a level "3" key by itself will do nothing.)  Once you do that, all eight tiles will appear simultaneously -- and all will be in the correct position, showing exactly how to set the arms and legs of the golden figures above.
  • 4 of 4: Note: you can always use a higher level key in a lower level slot.  Thus, in this example, if you had a level "3" key, you could first use it to enable the "2" slot, then the "3" slot.  Not only is this quicker (than switching keys), but it also allows you to clearly see what is happening when you enable the "2" slot, and then the "3" slot.
