I need help with the Bookshelf Puzzle!
1 of 7: Did you notice there are empty spots on the bookshelf?
2 of 7: You'll need more books for those empty spots before you can work this puzzle.
3 of 7: Before you "use" the bookshelf, pick up each book from inventory and "use" it on the bookshelf. (The order doesn't matter.) Then "use" the bookshelf itself.
4 of 7: The object is to move the 7 books (the 2 existing ones plus the 5 you found) in a particular order. You can start over by clicking on the word "Exit" at the top middle of the screen.
5 of 7: If you bought the Evening Star newspaper at Jackson Store ($6), read it (left click in inventory). Use the order Fenimore recites. (If you didn't buy that book don't worry! There is another way to figure it out.)
6 of 7: Since the books have colored labels, click on them in the order of a rainbow. Red to violet. (The answer is the next hint.)
7 of 7: Click the books in this order: 1. Red (Prehistoric) -- middle book on middle shelf 2. Orange (Egyptian) -- left book on bottom shelf 3. Yellow (Greek) -- right book on middle shelf 4.
