I can't see my horse!
1 of 2: The scenery interferes with your view. Your horse is actually beyond the bushes.
2 of 2: Scan the screen with your mouse cursor. The magnifying glass will appear (with a bar) on the left side in the more solid of the green bushes. "Look" at him to move closer. While in that close-up view you can feed him, if needed, and "use" him to leave.
