How much does each cost, and how much can I get?

  • 1 of 8: At first Fenimore can think of only 3 people.  Later, you can send 3 more.
  • 2 of 8: A telegram to Aunt Filomena will cost you $2, but she'll send you $10.
  • 3 of 8: Ask the President for a grant ($4), and you'll receive $20.
  • 4 of 8: Sam's telegram costs $2, but he'll send nothing back. (Don't waste your money on this one.)
  • 5 of 8: Buy all 3 of the newspapers for sale in Jackson Store and read them (3 times) for more telegram ideas. (Click on them in inventory to read them.)
  • 6 of 8: A telegram to Graduate Bull at Harvard will cost you $1, but you'll get $40!
  • 7 of 8: One to Dr. Hengelhoffer at Yuma Prison costs $3.  He'll send you $30.
  • 8 of 8: The last telegram (to the Poet Edgar P. Allen in Baltimore) costs $2 to send.  You won't get any money back, but the message you receive will help with another task.
