WANTED: A Wild Western Adventure Hints
Stopping the Abilene Train
of 9: If you read "The Morning Star" newspaper, you've probably figured out that the only way to stop the train is by blowing up the bridge.
of 9: You'll need to shoot well-placed dynamite from a distance to accomplish this task.
of 9: The bridge is tall. Fenimore won't be able to climb it using a standard climbing belt. He'll need to "launch" himself up.
of 9: If you don't have the Belt Launcher in inventory, go buy the "Automatic Launcher" at the Jackson Store for $12 before leaving town.
of 9: Head to the Bridge and walk down left until you reach the stream.
of 9: Use the Belt Launcher on the bridge to climb it. Use the dynamite on the bridge. Fenimore will jump down automatically.
of 9: Your best shot at the dynamite is almost level with it.
of 9: Walk up just past the beach and then around to the right, behind a big boulder. Left-click on the Winchester in inventory. If you're in the right spot, Fenimore will get into position.
of 9: You placed the dynamite on the topmost diagonal upright, snugged to the third pole from the right. Look until you find it. Then aim and fire at it until the bridge blows. (I hit it by targeting just slightly left on the pole itself.)
