The Ward Hints
What exactly should Bloom do from his console?
of 17: Important: These steps must be taken in a certain order. Also, everything must be done in the time allotted, so it may take repeated tries to get this just right.
of 17: Bloom's Life Support screen looks a bit complicated because of the instructions that appear on top of an intricate display board. Don't worry if you cannot see what is behind the messages. Pay attention to the messages themselves, which require your immediate attention.
of 17: Communicate back and forth between the 2 control panels (Walker in Security and Bloom in Life Support). Bloom will be entering requests into his console and Walker will need to approve them each time from his panel. So you'll be doing a lot of switching back and forth between the two characters.
of 17: The first thing you must do is Abort the current shutdown procedure. This stops the countdown for the Gravity Generator. (You'll be resetting that time to suit your own schedule in a minute.)
of 17: Click on Affirm. The next message states that you need approval. Walker can give that to you, so switch to him and have him approve it for Bloom.
of 17: If you try to reset the shutdown of the Gravity Generator now, the computer will warn you that lifesigns are registering on board. Therefore, no shutdown will occur until it doesn't register those lifesigns.
of 17: A little maintenance on the Life Support system will fix that!
of 17: Have Bloom access the panel by inserting a Maintenance Key in the bottom left hole.
of 17: This exposes a series of wires each with initials above them. By reading the top display you should be able to tell which initials stand for which computer functions.
of 17: LSR stands for Life Signs Reading; MC, for Main Computer; SEC, for security and so on.
of 17: Use your trusty wire cutters on the appropriate wires.
of 17: Cut both the two wires (the red as well as the blue) underneath the LSR heading.
of 17: Cut both of the wires for the Main Computer (under MC).
of 17: Now that the lifesigns are not registering, Bloom can reset the Gravity Generator shutdown sequence. Click on the message button to start. Then click on the word Affirmed.
of 17: Set the time by selecting one of them at the bottom of the screen.
of 17: It is important to select 3 minutes here.
of 17: You want it to stay shut down until you arrive on the planet, so select "until we arrive at Draco System." Affirm it. Get approval from Walker by switching to him and having him do so on his screen.
