The Ward Hints

What are the basics of this game?

  • 1 of 5: This is standard blackjack. Aces can equal 1 or 11. Face cards are 10. A "natural" Blackjack is an Ace and a Jack. The player whose cards total closest to 21, without going over, wins the hand and the item bet by the opponent.
  • 2 of 5: The Gambler will ante' up 2 or more items for you to choose from. You need to do the same by selecting some from inventory and placing them on the table. (If all you have is one item left, that 1 item will be accepted.)
  • 3 of 5: After dealing both of your 2 cards, you need to select whether to receive more (Hit Me!) or hold with what you have (Pass). Before deciding, look at the card lying face down by pointing to it. Repeat this for all subsequent offerings of more cards.
  • 4 of 5: The hand will end when both of you Pass. If both of you have an equal sum, it is called a Push and the process starts over with the same items as bet originally.
  • 5 of 5: When a winner is declared, you have the choice whether to stop or play another hand. You can leave at any time and will have ample opportunities to play more if you want.
