I'm being slaughtered by the laser turret on the island!
1 of 5: What activates the laser turret?
2 of 5: Notice the squares just inside the outer doors?
3 of 5: They're pressure plates. If you step on them, the turret will activate. However your party won't attempt to leap over them if they don't notice them.
4 of 5: Is there a skill, attribute or item that could be used here?
5 of 5: Make sure your leading character has perception and he should notice the plates automatically. Failing that, try using perception on the plates and/or on the square just in front of the plates.
