How do I meet Red Ryder?
1 of 5: This is one of the bizarre occurrences throughout the game. Do NOT save after finding Red Ryder, as you will lose the services of the Highpool doctor (the cheapest doctor in the game). First you must go to Highpool.
2 of 5: Try messing around in the stream.
3 of 5: Eventually you'll fall in and some kids will laugh at you.
4 of 5: How dare those kids laugh at you? Do something about it!
5 of 5: Fight the kids. Eventually Red Ryder will appear to put an end to your slaughter. (Incidentally, the "Red Ryder BB gun" in Fallout is a direct reference to this character.)
