Wasteland Hints

My party became sick while walking around and died! What gives?

  • 1 of 8: Wasteland is set after a nuclear war.
  • 2 of 8: Certain areas are irradiated, but can be detected by one of two methods.
  • 3 of 8: First method: Isn't there an item you can buy that is designed for detecting radiation?
  • 4 of 8: Buy the Geiger counter and equip it.  The bar at the right-hand side of the screen will light up when you near radiation.  When the top bar becomes lit, you have become irradiated.
  • 5 of 8: Second method: What's the classic tell-tale sign of an irradiated area?
  • 6 of 8: It glows.
  • 7 of 8: At night-time (the numbers at the top-right are a 24hr clock), the irradiated areas will become visible.
  • 8 of 8: You can either avoid rad-spots, or walk through them wearing a rad-suit. (All characters will need a rad-suit, though.)
