Are there any quick ways to raise skills?
1 of 4: You have to use skills in order to increase them, but sometimes skills will automatically be used.
2 of 4: For example, walking up and down the glass window in the secret entrance to Ugly's HQ in Quartz automatically uses perception. Similarly, walking up the sand dunes in Needles automatically uses climb and acrobat.
3 of 4: Your skills can improve when they are being used automatically. So just keep walking on the squares where the skill is used, and that skill will start toincrease for all your characters that have that skill. ** However skills can never be raised higher than your rank. (So a private 1st class cannot have skills greater than 2. Character creation is the only exception to this rule.) **
4 of 4: These areas also give you experience. So if you really want to gain ranks, just keep walking on those areas.
