Wasteland Hints
How do I not get blown up?
1 of 4: Well, hopefully you saved another version of Wastelands before you tried to escape the base. If not, your game is over.
2 of 4: You have one minute to get out the base. Watch the time at the top-right hand corner of the screen. Notice that the people who built this base did make it physically possible to get out.
3 of 4: An escape pod appears just north of the ladder leading into the room. Run to it ASAP.
4 of 4: When your parties are split up, they take more time to move. Rejoin them as soon as you can. If you rejoin your parties at a convenient place, and take the shortest route out of each console room, and go directly south when you leave the escape pod, you'll get out in time. Radio in to base for a nice surprise!
