Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness Hints
Mission 1: Zul'Dare
Mission Objectives:
- Build 4 Farms
- Build 1 Barracks
The object in this level is extremely simple. You start off with 1000 Gold and 1000 Lumber, as well as one Great Hall, one Farm, one Peon, and three Grunts. Tell your Peon to build a farm, while training a second one. Once you get your new Peon, tell him to get some gold. Once you get enough gold for another Peon (400), make one. At this point, you first Peon that was building the farm should be done. Tell him to chop some wood. Wait a little bit, until you have about 1000 gold, then stop one of your gold-mining Peons, and tell him to build a farm.
Once he's done, build another farm, then finally a Barracks. If you want to, train another Peon to chop down more wood. Lumber production may be slow, and if you are building and you have a lot of gold but not enough lumber, feel free to redirect one of the Peons bringing back gold to chop down trees.
As for the enemies, there are four humans: two Archers and two Footmen. Depending on which way you expand your village, you may need to kill one of them if they attack. If you have a bloodthirsty urge, take your Grunts (all three at a time) to go around and kill them all. Once you build those three extra farms and Barracks, wait a little bit until you get the victory message.
