Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness Hints

Skeleton

  • Anyone who's ever played the first Warcraft knew that skeletons were almost useless.  They could take few hits, and they weren't very powerful.  Plus, they could only stay alive so long.  Well, you get Skeletons the same way as in Warcraft 1 -- kill someone, then have the Death Knight cast "Raise Dead" on it.  Now, Skeletons are still pretty weak, but they don't have a time limit to how long you can have them, so you can build up a whole legion of them to attack.  However, this will take a while, and costs lots of magic too.  Good idea if you are need of MANY units, as at least they make a good distraction.
